Andrew's Free (or dirt cheap) Giveaway Empty Andrew's Free (or dirt cheap) Giveaway

Post  ACVT-Admin Wed Jan 23, 2013 6:33 pm

This is my last semester here at VT. Next year, I'm moving to Detroit for work, and will not have time to airsoft. As such, I am giving myself ample time to liquidate EVERYTHING I own before then. Over the years, I have accumulated stuff/parts/accessories, most of which I do not use. Everything will be free, except for a select few items that will be very cheap (like my gun, or my rig). This includes the gear I currently use for games, though I will not sell/give those away until the end of the semester when I officially quit. Everything else, feel free to take with you. I will keep a wishlist/waiting list for my current gear if there is interest, since I know conditions change over time.

I'll start a list of things shortly, but I literally have hundreds of items. The best way to see everything is either ask if I have something you want, or come visit me and poke through the boxes of stuff I have. First come, first served. For the gear I am currently using, you can claim them in a wait list and I'll let those go at the end of the semester (includes guns, yes)

ERMAGERD PARTS.

Very interested in springs and V2 parts, I'll have to come by some time. Also I think I still owe Sean a couple springs...

Edit: I'd walk away with pretty much every single spare piece and part... But that'd be selfish.

If you have it, I'd love to buy a better motor for my m249 and also a new piston for it since its chipped.
I'm also interested in your Beretta if you're selling that.

I don't have the highest quality pistons left. I have one that may be decent, but it's free so wutevs =D

I do have one good piston head I just got in stock. Take it for free if you want.

All parts are free. =D

The M93R is not free. =P But it will be sold later on in the semester according to condition at that time for a good deal. If you want to be first on the list for it, I can put you down on the waiting list.

Yup, Sean, got plenty of gearbox parts. Lot's to go around, so don't take them all, people, haha. I'm sure these parts will make their way to techs in the club so after I'm gone, they still serve good purpose.

I have one M4 mag. No r-hop stuff. Even though I'm liquidating, I still offer my repair services, so sure, dinner for repair sounds good to me!

I have some MP5 stuff. Mostly internals, not externals, but feel free to take whatever it is you find.

If this becomes popular enough, I may need to have a weekend purely dedicated to people coming and hauling away things. This will make my moveout so much easier! cyclops

As for the priced items, here's a list of what will cost money. I haven't figured out prices yet, but will post when I do. I plan to let them go at very good deals though. If I'm selling at liquidation discount pricing, would much rather pass savings onto ACVT, and not some random stranger on ASF.

M249 SAW
M93R Raffica
KWA M17 Glock
Replica 4x zoom ACOG
Coyote brown weesatch-type-thingie plate carrier
7.4v 4400 mah 20c lipo
Chrono
M93R mag

Everything else I own is free. There's a SIG552 with a broken stock and missing gas regulator (good version 3 gearbox though), gearbox shells galore, boxes of internals and working/not working motors, lots of rail accessories or gizmos (most are cheap stuff), wiring and random electrical bits, batteries, some tools, lipo charger, nimh smart charger, boots, multicam, pouches, propane adapters, a box mag for an M249 without sound control, some Duracoat materials, an ACU uniform, gun bags, and much much more that I cannot remember or forgot I have.

I reserve the right to hold the sale until the end of the semester should I still need the item for continuing repair services, or for my own participation in games, but you will be listed for that item come end of the semester and it's yours. Everyone knows I baby my things, so condition will not change from now until then (unless I trip and fall and impale myself on my SAW or something)

The SAW, an M93R, and the Glock. I've always kept my inventory of guns to a minimum of a primary and secondary, so that it would be easier to liquidate later.

I also have non-airsoft stuff that I can give away/sell. Things like an old graphics card, a table, computer parts, and even textbooks if you're an engineer.

Sorry, my amazingly good looks and charm are not for sale or giveaway. rabbit

In February, I will be bringing boxes of stuff from my home in NOVA. This includes external parts, magpulls, loaders, BBs, gear, batteries, and a whole bunch of stuff I cannot remember. I think there's a paintball gun too. And a CO2 tank for those of you who have polarstars. Also have masks, woodland camo, and a remote rig (again, for Polarstar users). These things are coming to Blacksburg in February, but you can claim these things now if you want.

I've become the next Ian Ellett. (for those of you who remember that guy)

Also, if you want springs, I can do live FPS testing of all my springs (or yours) out of my perfectly sealed M249. It is guaranteed to give you the most accurate reading of a spring at it's true FPS. A lot of times, guns leak air, so a 400 FPS spring only delivers 350 FPS. I can test the springs I have to give you exactly what FPS you want, or I can test the random springs you have lying around and give you the same information. My M249 does spring changes in seconds, so it's very easy.

What SAW stuff do you have? If you had say, a hopup, maybe even with a barrel, I might be inclined to take that off your hands... Very Happy

I'd like to put an official dibs on the piston head, possibly a gun bag, some springs, an air nozzle or two, and the Sig 552 (funny enough my brother has a broken one that could use some parts).

Edit: Potentially MP5 bits also.

All noted. =)

Jesse, I don't have spare SAW stuff, except the stock bipod which was absolute crap. Right now I have the G&P 100% steel one on, which cost me 100 bucks. I paid for that because I couldn't stand pot metal wearing away to the point of the bipod flopping everywhere. Besides that, I don't really have spare SAW stuff. The hop-up and barrel can be bought off of Evike for 25 bucks though.

Evan Forr just came by and took some stuff away, including an M4 mag, propane adapter, batteries, and parts, and yet no money was exchanged between us. Come get your stuff too! Have people coming tomorrow as well. It's first come, first served, and dibs are being called as well.

It's really just a 'I would like people to know that I am interested in this/could use this item' in the event that someone might take it without really needing it just because they kind of want it. At least, that was my intent.

I'm interested in the Glock as I don't have a sidearm yet, though I'm wary because I'm not too sure if it'll be worth it in the long run.
