Grill-tacular

Soooo000, I know there has been talk of grilling. And Im fulling planning on bringing my full size propane grill, and kaleb is bringing his smaller one. But uh, what exactly are we grilling on these things. I know we've talked about hotdogs/hamburgers, bratwurst, Korean BBQ but I dont know for sure what that is or how we plan to split up cost. Now I dont have a problem storing whatever meat we decide to grill at my house till I leave (since I seem to be the last one leaving) and bring it in my nice big red cooler but that still leaves how we split up cost and who be purchasing said items before hand. Needz to know cuz um this is coming up fast.

Ideas? Thoughts? Discuss. go.

Me and nick are getting some hotdogs. The 24 pack of ball park. And I can grab a bag or two of ice.

Well if somebody buys the stuff Ill chip in some money for it.

what if everyone just puts out 5 bucks for some food. that would bea good bit of food for everyone i think. what do you think?

Don't forget, guys, that we aren't completely in the middle of nowhere in Taylorsville. Looks like there are plenty of grocery options within 10 miles or so. That way you don't have to worry so much about coolers.

I like the way you think Kyle! A grocery run would be very easy to do for the people who are arriving early. I have no problem with setting up shop then going back out for some burgers...but I'm also not opposed to leaving Blacksburg with a cooler full either

Really the easiest way to do it is to just get a head count of how many people want food and how much. Then have one person go get it and everyone pay them. That way you don't have people trying to figure out who owe who what. But no matter what we do burger or dogs or whatever simply having meat isn't enough. You need chips and buns and condiments and maybe a side or two and all the other stuff you need to eat. Maybe we should make a little menu and then figure out numbers who want in on it.

And as far as grocery runs go that's fine Id. I was just saying I can bring stuff down or people can leave stuff at my house for this and I can get it on my way since I has tuck and plenty of fridge space to store it until I leave.

I am game on whatever...a head count may be easiest once we get there and those present can say I would like a burger with bbq chips...here is my money.

If we do decide to get stuff and transport from here to there I too have a cooler Gavin, so let me know if I need to transport anything

That list is really helpful and all.....but that doesn tell anyone what is being consumed and who is eating it and where we are getting said food. Are we bringing it down with us? getting it there? Im not making decisions for the entire group. so start deciding.

If there is a store locally why dont we decide when we get there and make a list. Then we can hand over moneys after deciding on what we want and how much. Though it may be hard to get it there since everybody else will be doing the same thing.

Those were kinda my thoughts. Packing coolers of food here to take there is just several more things to haul and take up space and worry about prior. I am game on whatever because I have a truck for hauling...but space will eventually reach a limit. Once we decide to buy food here or there we need to plan to make a trip out to Kroger to get such goodies! Aaaah we are running out of time!

I know. Its kind of hard to get stuff like this organized on a forum. Best to just do it there and hopefully get to Kroger or what ever they have before they run out of food O.O
