Location: Caldwell fields game area
Weather: Right now it is slated for 44 degrees and partly cloudy. There is a chance of snow on friday and saturday so there could be some snow on the ground.

Special attention will be given in this game and coming games to get beyond our "skirmish" tactics and start to use real military tactics and a more violent aggressive approach. Come prepared to hustle and engage the enemy with ferocity.

If you haven't signed the club waiver of risk already, please bring a signed copy to the game, where an admin will accept it. You CANNOT PLAY until you sign this wavier (an admin will bring a copy to the field)

Only post if you plan to show.

Sidenote: Be prepared to carry everything with you for a 15 minute walk. Make sure to have your guns convered so that no one can see them. Either use a gun bag or wrap them in something securely like a jacket that is tied off. We don't want any complaints coming back to the Rangers or to Law enforcement. We are doing great so far. Let's keep it that way.

Some people have been wearing shooting glasses. It is within your right to do so but a retention strap is required! Without a retention strap it becomes too easy for glasses to fall away from the eyes, leaving them unprotected.

Attention will be paid to keeping downtime to a minimum. Please come prepared and when downtime occurs, reload and get ready in a prompt fashion to help keep delays down.

Make sure to bring water. It is an absolute necessity and without it you are not going to be happy.

Please do not litter the field or leave belongings. We have been granted permission to use this field by park rangers, and we must maintain our integrity with them, and our environment.

Rides/Carpools/Procedure

We will be meeting at Sean's at 9:30 if you want to carpool (105 Lucas Dr.) or 10am at the field. If you need a ride and/or cannot make it to the carpool meeting spot, that can be arranged with our numerous drivers. Just post below that you need a ride. When you arrive at the field, we will put all gear in one of the trucks and drive it to the gate. We do not want to attract public attention. Everyone must also park at the Caldwell fields lot. No cars may be parked on the main road (621) and no cars may block the gate. If you don't know where that is please message an admin or make a post here saying so.[u][b]

Should be there. Also since I am still dealing with USPS about my stolen package I will have to ask for a loaner for this weekend. Should have my gun up and running the next time I am able to play.

Just realized I'm bringing two friends tomorrow and I don't have proper eye pro for them.
Does anyone have a set or two I could borrow? They both wear glasses, and one in particular has a pretty strong prescription.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up...a Winter Weather Advisory has been posted for today Feb 2, 2013. The advisory is effective from 10am until 7pm. Temperatures are not supposed to get above freezing today with a windchill in the teens. Make good decisions, if you make it out to the field be safe!

Elbow not recovered from cortisone so may no make it but Sean D and the other person that left stuff fo Keith your guns r here. Matt Ocheltree if it is an AI plastic adapter then I have it.

I'll be swinging by your place shortly after 9:30, I have to pick people up first but then I'll head that way to get Sean D.'s guns.

Looks like 9 so far. Game ON! Admins present at game will make decisions about possible early finish if weather conditions become dire. Let's have some fun!

Great turnout at 18 today. Really happy that everyone enjoyed the Virus, Kings, and Hazmat games. I know the officers will be trying to find ways to better work the flashpoint game in order to make it more effective.

Please post your after action reports/reviews of what you thought, concerns, sustains and improves. I am off to work, but I will post up my own feelings when I get the first free chance.

Thank you all for coming out today, I trully had a blast and the tactical movements in the hazmat and king games was some great fun.
