New player with a few quick questions.
Hi everybody, I'm Reuben. I hope to join you guys in the field this year.
Does anyone know of a local airsoft store within a two drive that has gear I can try on? I am trying to find a chest rig that fits nice and tight (I'm 5'5" 125LBS). I've been to Roanoke Airsoft and they had a few things to try on. Or perhaps, I can meet someone that has a few things I can try on over break.
Also, do you guys have a FPS limit for field play? I am picking up a M4 at 380-410 FPS.

Hey Reuben!
I think our field limit is like 300~400fps 15ft min. engagement. The rules doc in the "Rules and waiver" thread in the Games subsection goes into more details.
As for local retailers (I'm assuming blacksburg.) I don't know of any like just stores that sell equipment. There are like 2 ~ 3 indoor places for playing that I think might sell gear but I'm not certain, maybe one of the other members here might know some more info. You'd probably be best looking up a sizing chart for plate carriers then just going off of that. Some guys are selling plate carriers the last time I checked, look in the "Buy-Sell-Trade" subsection for current listings, you can also always ask at one of our games if anyone is selling one.
Hope to see you out on the field soon!
