OP Patriarch II

Planning is in the works for OP: Patriarch II. Right now I am looking at either May 26th or June 2nd.

Following operations in September 2011, ISAF is beginning to get an increasingly stronger foothold in Nahr-e Saraj. Most major roads are cleared of IEDs and ISAF troops are able to move with a previously unimaginable freedom.
With mobility secure, ISAF forces have shifted focus to locating and destroying enemy opium and weapon caches. Taliban forces have not taken this new initiative laying down and have increased the intensity of hit and run strikes, slowly bleeding the resolve of Coalition forces.

SEALs to do direct action raids on. The Taliban will focus on attrition and wearing down the Coalition through guerilla tactics.

Teams:
US Navy SEALs: 16 Slots
Taliban: Not limited

I can always open more SEAL slots if necessary as things develop.
Lets see if we can get some peeps to register

Location? Uniform requirements? Sounds like this game is suggesting accurate SEAL kits, and as much as I'd like to fight alongside VTAC guys I very likely do not meet these requirements.

I do, however, have an AK, which makes me at the very least terrorist worthy.

Ill let Tom speak to that as he is coordinating the game, but I think multicam/aors with a rig would suffice. However we will need quite a bit of terrorist so that would help as well

I can probably make if its the June date. Also, AK-47s FOR EVERYONE!!!! 'cept you damn squids.

There are probably a lot of guys who have worked way harder on their SEAL kits than myself.

Either date should be fine, unless the OP is really hurting for SEALs I'll be fine fighting for Team Osama.

in. highly doubt ill have a seal kit then (not sure ill ever make one to be honest) but you can be damn sure the rpk will be tearing up the seals that day!!!

Yea it def will. Gotta do some fixing up on it but I plan to do that right when I get back. (also as funds go right now I may be having that m27 round then so seal kit is possible )

No big deal. I sent him this on Facebook, since Drew and I have been talking about SEAL stuff for a month or two in order to get something accurate pinned down. I'd always rather have over enthusiasm for a game than a lack of enthusiasm.

As Drew said, this is very preliminary. More info about exact uniforms and the actual requirements and so forth will come out soon. You can expect a high standard for SEAL requirements, however that exact standard has yet to be set and will be largely based on what the VA player base can actually support. Once I get some things rolling and more firmly in place, you can expect an official post which will probably happen in the next two or three weeks.

Im just excited that for once I wont be the only bad guy from vtac! MORE TALIBAN!!!! (seriously though its like teh cheapest kit to make ever if you already have an ak)

Also out of curiosity Tom, which side are you thinking of playing on? and Drew are you gonna work on getting some of your dads friends or whatever to come out and play like you said you were way back when?
