Which weekend is it possible for you to travel? (multiple choice, vote cancelling)
Ballahack
This thread for discussing and planning a trip to Ballahack this summer. Ballahack is in the Chesapeake area about 5 hours away. Cost is $20 a day. Ideally we'll be going down for a weekend, travelling down the Friday before and playing both days. Josh has kindly volunteered his place to stay. He can host us the weekends of June 21st, July 5th, and July 19th. Vote up on which weekends can work for you.
I've personally been several times. Ballahack is an awesome field to play at with regular 100+ games every weekend run by equally awesome people. You'll be getting your money's worth.

Re: Ballahack
Really interested in making this trip. I have always wanted to play there...just need to determine a date that works best! Once I can determine which of the three dates (July 5 date is out for sure I will be on vacation) I can manage I will place my vote.

Re: Ballahack
Im afraid Josh can't host us that weekend. To keep it affordable and give enough leeway to those with jobs I don't think we can consider the 15th. I'm sorry Zack, may we pew pew sometime soon.

Re: Ballahack
While I voted for multiple days, I'm thinking July 19th will be the best aim. June 21st is a bit close to coordinate, and July 5th is dangerously close to Independence Day, which could cause a host of complications.
Plus, with July 19th being the date furthest out, it may give people more time to get their ducks in a row.

I was hoping not to go in the middle of summer session II. I agree that July 5th is probably a no bueno. How's everyone else feel, two weeks too short of notice?

July 5th for sure will not work for me...coming home from the beach that day. Wanna go though sometime or another...just need to agree on something sometime or another

Re: Ballahack
Nice post count Kyle. Anyway, thanks for volunteering to drive. I'm good for my portion of gas money. I should be free to roll out around 3:30pm at the absolute earliest.
Trip is 5 hours each way, and we'll be staying with Josh Conwell while we're there.
There's a small concessions stand and shop on site.
Field is situated in a swamp. It will be muddy and wet at times, and there will be insects. Bring a change of clothes each day and insect repellent.
It is mid July in Virginia. Please pack a means of bringing water with you.
Rules and Regs: are covered on their website and in a briefing before gameplay, but some relevant highlights;
