Vietnam living history display
I did this last memorial day; never got to post them before going overseas. Hell, today is Veteran's day. I think no one will smite me for recycling them in commemoration of that.
The event was a timeline of American soldiers (and sailors) from the French and Indian War to Vietnam. It takes place every year at Bennett Place State Historic Site near DURHAM, NC.
As a living history event, the sole purpose is to educate the public. Now mind you, I put this whole display on with my airsoft replicas, yet I feel I was able to give a very adequate display for the visitors. If I am able to go again next year, I will be and frankly, with what I have in mind, I would love to enlist one or two more enthusiasts to help me. Any of you guys would be my first choice, provided you are willing to put together a good kit and learn everything you can about Americans and their gear during Vietnam. If interest or if you have questions, feel free to PM me. Urraaah!
